Moritz & Associates was founded by John A. Moritz who has 25 years of experience in law enforcement. Mr. Moritz has served as a State Tax Fraud Investigator with the Comptroller's Office of Texas. He has served with a Special Deputation with the US Marshal's Service and the Federal Bureau of Investigation while on a Task Force. He has been licensed private investigator for over 12 years. Mr. Moritz is a member of the Texas State Board of Private Investigators. Other Investigators on Staff include former DEA, Houston Police, Department of Public Safety Narcotics and Harris County Detectives.

Moritz & Associates makes use of the most advanced surveillance and investigative technologies. Our information systems are among the most modern communication, data and processing systems available today. We have immediate electronic communication and we have access of over 1000 databases for information searches, locating persons and asset retrievals. Moritz & Associates has a network of investigators nationwide and in most of South and Central America, as well as Mexico. European and Asian contacts are also available. We have Spanish, Portuguese, Korean and Vietnamese speaking Investigators on staff. We offer translation services in these languages as well as Investigations.

Surveillance Resources:
Moritz & Associates has access to state-of-the-art surveillance equipment with our use of closed circuit TV, time lapse video recording, long-range video and still photography using Canon® and Nikon® equipment, hidden and minicam equipment using Sony® special-order and custom-made equipment. We offer state of the art self contained Surveillance equipment using Closed Circuit Television as well as Video cameras.
